I have four wdviliew game cameras total. two are 2.0s that are on their 3rd season, one is a 2.0 that is on its second season, and one is a 5.0 that is on its first season. The newer they are the worse they get. I have all hooked up to car batteries, so battery life is not an issue. I leave them out for six months per season without worring about batteries. The biggest problem with all four cameras is that they freeze . I change memory cards every Sunday, and they are usually froze on monday's date. Then I have to unplug battery and reset time and date, this is annoying enough not to mention all the pictures I miss in the following five or six days. My other problem is with the two newer cameras not taking pictures with deer right in front of it. Deer tracks within ten feet of camera and no pics, even when camera is not froze . On a good note the cameras do take nice pictures when they are working properly, and they are eazy to use. It is exciting to check the cards every week, but disapointing when there are few or even no pictures because camera froze. This is especially true when there is a new rub or scrape right in front of camera. I am now starting to change out cameras one at a time with a different camera that you can catch on sale for $79.99 and gets a 4 out of 5 star rating. Hope to have better luck with these.
